All our baskets are handmade and one of a kind, so the sizes may vary slightly. Measurements are taken at the opening, which is the narrowest point. The lid adds around 1 cm to the height and diameter.

The baskets are made of palm leaf fibres that are a byproduct of farming in Oaxaca, Mexico. A small community of female artisans meticulously gather, strip, and dye these palm leaf fibres, and then they intricately weave them into beautiful, practical baskets with astonishing speed and precision.
Our UK-based designers and Mexico-based creators work together to create baskets that combine traditional techniques and a modern aesthetic. Our British designers identify colours and patterns that appeal to modern consumers to ensure our baskets look at home in every home. Then each basket is hand woven by indigenous female artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico, using techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. This collaborative process creates a global marketplace for ethical home decor and ensures this indigenous community receives a sustainable income.
