LTP SOLVEX
A powerful non-caustic stripper that softens most types of surface sealer, which can then be removed with ease. Suitable for removing most wax, oil, silicone, acrylic, polyurethane sealers and residual epoxy grout. After washing and rinsing, surfaces are ideal for re-sealing.
LTP Products Formulated and Made in England To Clean, Seal and Maintain Home and Workplace
Pour contents into a glass or metal container (not plastic). Apply generously by dabbing on with a cloth or brush. Work in manageable areas of no more than 5 sq metre and do not brush out.
Leave for up to 30 minutes, but do not allow the solution to dryout. If drying should occur within 30 minutes apply a little more solution. Use a course,stiff brush or abrasive pad to remove softened coating from the surface.
Repeat the process if unwanted material remains. Wash down with a dilute solution of LTP Grimex, rinse with plenty of water and leave to dry (min 24hrs) before re- sealing. Use natural fibre brushes. Brushes made from synthetic fibres may be damaged by this product. If you are unsure of correct application methods, test on an inconspicuous area, prior to general application. If removing residues from epoxy grout; apply making sure to avoid prolonged contact with the joint as well. Viscous solution should not drip if used on vertical surfaces.

The history of LTP however, goes back nearly 20 years when Anthony Robb, owner of Wellington Tile Company started to import terracotta from Portugal and recognising the need for an ageing liquid to give the tiles an antique finish, he went home, mixed up a secret brew in his cement mixer, bottled it in 1 ltr jerry cans and branded the new sealer as LTP OLDTONE OIL. A few weeks later the cement mixer was in action again, this time concocting a clear finish sealer LTP CLEARTONE.
The terracotta was sold as Lionheart Terracotta so the range of sealers became known as Lionheart Terracotta Products, or LTP for short.
Today, production has moved away from the cement mixer to a specialist chemical packing company and then sold direct to the customer, cutting out the need for an agent. This means that LTP can offer a concise range of reasonably priced sealers, cleaners and maintenance products that are easy to apply. All of this is backed up with a technical help line, web site, literature and product guides.
