This panel was carefully made by cutting black glass into thin strips to create the trunk and branches of the trees. Small pieces of green and orange crushed glass are then carefully added to create some beautiful foliage. A foreground of fine brown powdered glass gives a hint of the ground below. Once complete, the work is then fired in a kiln to fuse all of the powder and crushed glass to the background layer. These trees look stunning and will create a beautiful colour on your windowsill as they catch the light. The glass tile measures 15 cm x10 cm tall and the wooden base is 15 cm x 7 cm x 2.5 cm giving an overall height of 12 cm. Danish Oil was applied to the wood to protect it.
