Lactol kitten formula from Beaphar is a complete food to be used from birth in young unweaned cats. It is also suitable as a complementary feed for weaning kittens, pregnant or lactating females and elderly, sick or convalescent cats. Enriched with DHA naturally present in breast milk and a source of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and high quality proteins easily digested, its formula approaches as close as possible to what the cat drinks while sucking his mother. Lactol milk is an important source of energy for animals in the growth phase and those in need of a richer nutrient intake than normal times. Usable from birth, it dilutes at the rate of 7 measures of 4.5 g per 100 ml of water. To prepare it, mix the Lactol powder in warm water until completely dissolved. Let cool and then give the animal the milk to drink using a Beaphar bottle, syringe or in a bowl. Adult animals sometimes prefer to drink cold milk. Once prepared, milk can be stored for 24 hours in the refrigerator and should be warmed up before being consumed by a kitten. The amount to be used varies depending on the age, size and breed of the animal. It is therefore advisable to give Lactol on demand. A liter of reconstituted milk contains about 1250 kcal.
