This is an original silhouette papercut, not a print. A maximum of 250 papercuts will be produced of this design (The picture shown is an example. The number you recieve may be different). Each picture is hand-cut by myself (John Speight) using a scalpel and is then mounted onto watercolour paper. The picture is then hand-signed and numbered and then it is framed in a Black frame. This design is replicated, however, as each picture is individually cut there are small differences that make each an original artwork. The size of the picture apperture is approximately 60mm x 60mm. The outside of the mount size is approximately 160mm x 180mm. The outside of the frame is approximately 180mm x 200mm. A hanging clip is attached. A flyer is enclosed entitled "About Your Silhouette" which explains how the papercut is made and tells a little about my familys papercutting history. Unlike my usual work this papercut does not have a hand-tinted background and is signed on the actual picture rather than the mount. (The enclosed flyer describes my usual work).
