I love to look at my favourite beaches from a different perspective, up on the cliff and I often find myself watching the sets of waves come in, like ripples in a giant pond! As ever, I find the sea, in its many forms, totally hypnotic, however there is something special about watching those sets... perfectly spaced, perfectly irregular and perfectly calm (on the surface at least). I took these rolling waves as inspiration for this ring. Made from Sterling Silver, this wrap style, adjustable ring is contemporary and simple in its design but an impactful and enchanting statement ring! Its made from an oval shaped wire, measuring 1.9mm wide. The wire has been shaped and formed in to a ring, with the ends overlapping, with the whole length of the ring measuring approx 7.5cm. At either end, the wire has been twisted, to represent the rolling waves that inspired the design. Its an adjustable ring, but best suited for UK sizes L-R. Its a great gift for a lover of the sea!
