Description

The flow monitor automates and controls the switching on of the centrifugal or submersible pump. It monitors the pressure in the pipe system from the pump to the consumer. When water is removed from the pipe system, the pressure decreases. If the pressure is below 1.5 bar (adjustable), the flow monitor switches on the connected device (e.g. centrifugal pump). This provides the consumer with water again. When the consumer is closed, the flow is reduced and the pump is switched off.

The special thing about this flow monitor is the built-in dry running protection. If there is no water (cistern empty), the flow monitor automatically switches off the pump (dry run protection).

A check valve is also integrated into the flow monitor. This prevents the pipe system from emptying on the consumer side.

The pressure gauge monitors the switch-on pressure and pressure in the system. The switch unit is not suitable for pumps that have a pressure build-up significantly below 1.5 bar.
