The LD Systems HPA 1 is a versatile headphone amplifier with high output power for stage, studio and home recording and the perfect connection solution for wired in-ear monitoring. The compact unit in a robust, ergonomically shaped plastic housing with soft-touch surface and practical belt clip is extremely comprehensively equipped.

The HPA 1 has XLR connections for the balanced L/R stereo input and a 3.5 mm stereo socket as an aux input for click or playback tracks. It is protected against excessive input levels and can be used in fixed mode with a mains adapter. |
The output of the HPA 1 for headphones and earphones is a 3.5 mm stereo socket. Level and balance can be adjusted with rotary controls and a button switches between stereo signal and mono sum. An integrated limiter ensures distortion-free playback and protection against feedback. |
For a function overview, the LD Systems HPA 1 has two-colour LEDs that indicate, among other things, the response of the limiter during level peaks and the battery level. At 165 grams, the headphone amplifier is extremely lightweight and can be operated for up to 12 hours with a high-quality 9V battery. |
