Description

1970s vile and smelly capers, trickery and invention. Eleven-year-old would-be inventor, Harry, is egged on by his spiteful, trickster sister, Lou, who loves to see Harrys crazy ideas end in disaster.

... Like, sucking up a nest of wasps with a Hoover, or using a VAX machine to remove Goldfish from their bowl (for cleaning)
But when the siblings are thrown into the Pit of Doom (a deep and abandoned lime kiln in thick woodland) by escaped jewel thieves, camping in a derelict farm cottage, Harrys inventive ideas offer the only chance of escape, and the siblings skill at invention and trickery must be relied upon to catch the crooks and retrieve stolen gems.
But will Harrys arch-enemies, the Tiger-Striped Goons (wasps) help or hinder him, this time around?
