Description
The silo sandbags with metal closure have a carry handle and are made of extremely strong monspun fabric. Thanks to their UV resistance, the silo bags have a long service life of approximately 8 to 10 years. Silo sandbags are suitable for weighting silo film, underlayer film (suction film) and silo protection grids. Thanks to their tubular shape, the bags are ideal for use on or in the driving silo. Due to their length, the silo sandbags can also be used as a flood barrier, e.g. on cellar doors or windows. A silo bag is ideally filled with round coarse-grained gravel, but can also be filled with sand.
Directions for use:
Tip 1: Silo sandbags fill best with slightly coarser round gravel, rather than sand. Since the bags are made of a thin, water-permeable fabric, fine sand may drain through the fabric over time.
Tip 2: Each silo sand bag has a reversible adhesive strip. This marking is used to detect which side is at the top. Turn silo bags every year. So you expose the top and bottom of the sandbags evenly to UV rays. Even though the high-quality single-line fabric is UV resistant, you double the durability of sandbags with this method.
Tip 3: Do not fill the sandbags with gravel, but so that they are still mobile and "soft". Thus, the bags adapt better to their surface and do not slip easily and form a better and more homogeneous structure when stacking.
