Materials and Technologies


PVC fabric BARK inflatables are only made from special boat fabrics. The basic cord is coated on both sides with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in several layers. Thanks to modern PVC modifications, the fabrics selected by us are in no way inferior to the best fabrics with other polymers, at least in the most important properties: strength of different types, resistance to aggressive substances and environmental influences, etc. Therefore, BARK boats offer high reliability at a reasonable cost. For boats we traditionally prefer materials from recognized innovation and quality leaders - Mehler, Heytex, Wonpoong, Polytex. Inflatable boats BARK of different models differ in the density of the material of the air chamber (800-1100 g / m2). It is optimally selected during construction - to give each model the right strength, seaworthiness and safety without making the boat heavier. The density of the floor fabric of all inflatable boats is 1100 g / m2.	Airtight Compartments The main element of the Bark inflatable boats are the air chambers (sides, board sides), which are made in the form of balloons, the length of which is determined by the boat model. The minimum size for single-seat vehicles is 1.9 meters and the maximum is 5.5 meters. The fact that the board is divided into several chambers makes the boat safer to use. If one of the sections is damaged, air will be trapped in the remaining sections, allowing the boat to remain on the surface of the water. This makes it possible to reach the bank safely. Increased diameter of the cylinders for some models of boats - compared to the standard diameter for most inflatable boats of comparable length. Therefore, such inflatable boats have the best buoyancy and stability. And of course the air chambers of all BARK boats are divided into compartments according to international standards. The number of pressure chambers is optimally calculated for a specific model of the BARK boat - from 2 to 5.	Seams For seams and fastening of fittings, we use hot glue (the glue is hardened under the influence of a certain elevated temperature). As international experience shows, this is currently the best option that delivers the right quality. Seam construction - end to end, on a seam tape made of boat fabric. Above - the second tape (although according to the norm it is not required, it strengthens and protects the seam, makes it more aesthetically pleasing). Proven through world experience: This seam design is the most reliable. Bark uses the most reliable technology: gluing "seam to seam". The seams are the safest place on the boat.

Attention to details


Bow There is a towing ring at the bow of the boat - for carrying, towing, anchoring. The bow is slightly raised, which gives comfort on waves and allows you to get closer to the shore. The sharp bow of the boat allows for a quick, quieter ride, while driving through reeds the bush pushes to one side.	Protection (below) The central protective profile in motorized keel inflatable boats is not uncommon. But the moldings at the point of attachment of the floor on the sides are an exception. They are equipped with all motorized inflatable boats BARK with a fixed transom - both with a keel and with a flat bottom.	Protection (side) A PVC rubbing strip with a splash guard is attached to the boat to protect the hoses from the side. It makes the boat stiffer, protects the board, and the protruding edge visor serves as a splash guard.	Fittings Most of the fittings (valves, oarlocks, paddle holders and paddles themselves, tow rings, handles, line holders and lifelines, various profiles and other small items) are made in Ukraine, where our boats are also produced. We work with manufacturers to choose the construction and materials.

Seats and floor Benches are made of ship plywood, do not rot. The seats must be installed before the maximum air pressure is reached in the boat air chambers. Slats (special slats made of waterproof boat building plywood) are built into the pockets on the bottom of the boat, which makes it possible to prevent floor deflection, also increases the rigidity of the boat and allows it to stand securely on its feet, the slats also have an anti-slip coating.	Oarlock Modern oarlocks are equipped with a rotating mechanism and enable the oars to move horizontally and vertically. The forks are in the right place for the comfort of the rower.	Safety tether Tether is a required safety element. If you are overboard, it helps to get back into the boat, allows you to hold on while boating, makes it easier to carry the pumped boat, and accessories are also used to fasten the boat. Made from materials that cannot rot, does not absorb water, does not need to be dried for storage.	Transom Removable transom with bracket made of durable and moisture-proof Bakelite plywood and bracket made of reinforced PVC material. Correct attachment ensures safety and good driving characteristics. For every inflatable boat there are standards regulated by the manufacturer for the performance of the built-in outboard motor. We advise you to strictly follow these recommendations to avoid ripping or tearing the boats air cylinder.
