The cartridge filters the water and corrects its PH so that it is practically neutral. The filtered water is optimal for ironing; the use of these anti-scale cassettes prevents scaling of the steam generator.
They are to be replaced when the cassette wear indicator flashes. The colour of these tapes may vary. They are made from recycled plastic to protect the environment.
