Feature(may vary by option.)

●Professional Djembe Darbuka 60cm drum with good sound and beautiful pattern from our own Ciffre brand which has been produced under fair trade conditions.
●The dimensions of the djembe are approximately 60 cm x 29 - 30 cm x 30 - 32 cm (height x playing surface x diameter) - weight: approx. 7 kg. Our drums are covered with goat skin, about 7mm metal ring and 7mm thick mountaineering cord, ready to play and have a good sound. The body of the djembe is made of mahogany wood from sustainable plantations.
●Since the above mentioned raw materials are natural products and our bongos are manufactured by small workshops under the simplest conditions, slight deviations in wood/skin colour as well as natural irregularities and slight colour differences are inevitable and therefore no reason to complain. This product is not a mass-produced industrial product and the wood is not plastic.
●Versatile musical instrument for adults and professional musicians. Djembes can be used, for example, for early musical education or as an accompanying instrument for the cajon or drums. Basic musical experiences are acquired through intensive sensory training (hearing, sight, sensation) and the management of sounds, noises and tones. Early contact with percussion instruments also supports general skills.
●Feel free to visit our Amazon store, where you will find about 200 different instruments to choose from. We make djembes of all shapes and sizes. Here you will find drums for children, beginners or professional drummers. Our designs range from various sculptures to finely painted patterns. Our djembes are also particularly suitable as 30th, 40th or 50th birthday gifts for men and women.

Description

Djembe / drum from CIFFRE - Design by Marco Bauer Import & Export GmbH

What is a djembe?

The djembe is a goat skin covered goatskin drum in the shape of a cup.

The djembe we know today is native to the Malinke and Bambara ethnic groups of West Africa, present regions of Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso and Côte dIvoire.

We already had the first djembes in 1975 imported to Germany.

Our djembes were well received from the beginning and gradually found more and more followers in Germany and around the world.

This is all the most important for us, also to promote early motor and musical education of children.

We are the proud supplier of many educational institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Marco Bauer Import & Export GmbH attaches great importance to the highest quality standards and fair payment in the country of manufacture.

All barrels are entirely handmade. Therefore, there may be small deviations even with the same products. Due to the traditional workmanship, each barrel is unique.
