A: Yes, it comes with a 3 pin uk plug.
Q: Are these ok to use inside as garage lights? Do they get hot?
A: Yes, they can use both indoor and outdoor, and the Heat Dissipation is great, doesn’t give out as much heat as halogen light and puts out quite a lot of light.
Q: Can these be rewired from a longer lead or is it a sealed unit that cannot be accessed. And, therefore, you would need to use an extension connector?
A: Its sealed unit, Hence the IP66. If the cable it is fitted with is not long enough for your purpose you would need to use a connector at the plug side, and you need to cut off the plug to connect the cable by your side.
Q: Is it economical?
A: Its LED so its certainly a lot more efficient than halogen for the same level of light. Its clearly cheaper to run.
