Description

The radial seals are integrated into the engine housing and are sealed with their sealing lip. The sealing lip generally operates on the rotary shaft and is pressed onto the surface of the wave using a worm spring inserted into the lip sealing ring. Of course, they are also subject to wear and tear and become brittle and waterproof after a long time (or even long immobility).

If the engine runs a lot in the stationary gas and cannot be adjusted, this can also be a sign of leakage of gaskets (fake air). Gasoline components are in the transmission oil, it is most of the time that the side seal ring of the clutch is defective.

Our sealing rings are made of different materials depending on the manufacturer. Blue and black gaskets are mainly made of synthetic rubber (NBR) and thus meet current automotive standards. Brown gaskets are made of fluoroelastomer (FKM), more temperature stable and have slightly higher abrasion and oil resistance.

Please compare the dimensions given in the title before purchasing.

Some Vespa models have gaskets with different cutouts on the side seat of the alternator or clutch. The round or square cutout for rinsing the bearings with mixture is very important, otherwise the bearings will not be rinsed. What shape one rides on its Oldie engine is ultimately no matter because both fit and allow the desired effect.
