Description

Everyone loves Highland cows, they are remarkably charismatic and photogenic. I have been photographing Highlands for over 10 years and this guy is one of my most popular images. The picture was captured in Yorkshire on a local nature reserve where these cows graze the marshlands each winter. The calves were about 10 months old and I spent two days in snow and mud with them to capture this image. Light snow was falling and I think he was licking the snow off his nose. He is much loved by Highland cattle lovers and makes everyone smile. Our prints are printed by a professional lab who produce true photographic prints with 100 year lifespan. The finish is lustre (satin type finish) on Fuji paper. It is unframed and mounted (matted) in a cream mount and comes with information about the picture on the back of the mount. Packaged in a film wrapper. Sizes are: Medium Print A4 mounted to 14x11" (this is the frame size required) About the Licky Cow Gallery All images in the Licky Cow Gallery range are taken by Yorkshire-born photographer Toni Cross. Toni divides her time between Yorkshire, the Norfolk Brecklands and New South Wales Australia and photographs wildlife, and some domestic animals, all over the world.
