Feature

●The Large Pond Bottom Drain Accepts 110mm Black Waste Pipe. If the application of 4" Pressure pipe (114.3mm) is required a Bottom Drain Converter Socket is available to purchase.
●Bottom drains are designed to be placed at the deepest part of the pond for the removal of the wastes and the settlements of the koi/fish. Can be installed into multiple areas of the pond to stop sludge build up
●For best use the pipe work should run as direct to the filter. This is because although there is water flow through the pipe work, the heavier solids tend to settle out and can build up in the pipe work itself.
●Perfect way to reduce sludge within the pond
●Bottom Drains are generally accepted as a must and should be installed in all ponds under construction.
●Supplied - Bottom Drain Sump, Dome, Ring, High Adjuster Tube, 12 x Stainless Steel Screws, Instruction Leaflet
●Bottom Drain Sump Dome is 380mm Dia

Description

9″ x 4″ Bottom Drain and dome The 9″ X 4″ Bottom Drain and Dome are designed to give a high efficiency low maintenance system when constructing a pond, as it draws debris and solids from the lowest level in the pond. Using a gravity feed system is more beneficial as the solids get feed straight into your filter system for removal and not liquidised into fine particles as with a in pond pump, the finer the particles the harder it is for your filter system to remove them, resulting in a poorer quality of water. The 4″ / 110mm outlet on the 9″ x 4″ Bottom Drain gives a high flow of water which gives a good pull removing debris from across the bottom of the pond. Supplied- 9″ x 4″ Bottom Drain Sump, Dome, Ring, Pipe, 12 x Stainless Steel Screws, Instruction Leaflet. Solvent Weld Fitting
