Description
Tinned Copper
The määx boundary cable is made of high-quality tin-plated copper. We do not use aluminium, as this material breaks quickly and the robot mower loses contact with the charging station.
The cable has a total thickness of 2.7 mm. The 0.75 mm² thick core is made of tinned copper and consists of 24 single strands.
The insulation is UV and weather resistant. The boundary cable can also be used as a search cable.
Compatible with all robotic lawnmower models
With the määx boundary cable, robotic lawnmower from all manufacturers can be installed. These include, for example, Husqvarna, Gardena, StiHL, Worx, Bosch, Wolf Garten, Robomow, Kress, Scheppach, Yard Force, McCulloch and Ambrogio.

Always start at the charging station of your robot lawnmower. There clamp the first end of the boundary cable. Then work around the property. You can either lay the boundary cable above ground using ground pegs or it approx. 5 cm deep into the soil. We recommend variant 1 so that you can make corrections later easily. The boundary cable must be tightly tensioned and form a closed loop from the charging station around the working area of your robotic lawnmower. Be sure to avoid two cable strands crossing.
You must maintain the following distances when installing:
Approx. 5 cm to lawn edging approx. 30 cm to fences, walls and tree enca. 100 cm to potential crash points or water surfaces (e.g. garden ponds or pools)
