How to tune:

  • First, open the battery door and insert the battery into the tuner.
  • Press the power button and hold for 2 seconds to turn it on (off).
  • Clip the tuner to your instrument.
  • Play a single note on your instrument, and the note name (and string number) will appear in the display. The screen color will change and the meter will move as you play.
  • Accurate Pitch: If the pointer is centered and the screen shows green, it means the pitch is accurate.
  • Low Pitch: If the pointer is to the left and the number shows white, it means the pitch is lower.
  • High Pitch: If the pointer is to the right and the number shows white, it means the pitch is higher.
