The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine base night bomber of World War II. After October 1940, it was also used by Polish aviation in Britain. This extremely successful aircraft was produced from 1937 to the end of the war in 1945. It was created in many different variants that differ in equipment but not in the basic design. Due to their low maneuverability, the Wellington fly mainly at night. They were also great for coastal patrols and as submarine hunters. In addition, they were famous for their high resistance to damage suffered in combat. The British Vickers Wellington bomber has been accurately reproduced from COBI building blocks in 1:37 scale.
