Description

The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, which to this day also produces OEM high-quality tuning parts, spare parts and accessories for classic Vespa scooters.

The cable for the throttle handle is available in two variants: one end is always open and must be shortened to size depending on the vehicle, the second end is available either with a small solder connection or the larger nipple.

In general:


Small solder connection = to attach to the gas pusher on the carburetor.
Barrel nipple = to be attached to the gas roller on the handlebars.


Pulleys are very important components on a Vespa. Whether it is gas, brake, gear shift or clutch, everything is controlled here by cord. Therefore, trains must also be maintained regularly. A torn train is boring – most of the time, it happens on the go if you dont have a replacement. The trick for all Vespa drivers, whether in the glove box or in the garage at home, having a few spare cables in stock can never be damaged.

Tip: exchange frayed hoists in time before it cracks! a few millimeters of clearance per cable (according to manufacturer specifications). Even too tight trains can break quickly.

Do not lubricate pulleys with PTFE outer coating. Additional dry lubricant based on PTFE. It is best to clean all others with deflation oils such as WD40.
