It restores the natural appearance and revives the natural colour of weathered softwoods, picks up dirt and grime as it cleans and primes the surface for finishing coats. It removes black stains and tannin stains and rust stains on timber. Roxil Wood Scrub is a clear, water-based oxalic acid wood cleaner. It is sometimes known as wood reviver, wood bleach or oxalic acid wood bleach. The Roxil oxalic acid gel is ready-to-use, unlike oxalic acid crystals which require mixing with water or methylated spirits. Roxil Wood Scrub Gel coverage is around 1m2 per litre, although this may vary based on wood type and condition. Do not apply in extremely cold temperatures — 5℃ minimum. To determine compatibility, a small test area is recommended before full application. Efficacy may vary based on wood species and condition. Previous treatments may affect performance — paint and varnish-based coatings should be stripped prior to Roxil Wood Scrub Gel application. Ensure no rain is forecast to fall during the cleaning process. Allow 24 hours for best results. Clean debris and dirt from the surface.
