Description

HI98319 salinity tester especially for saltwater aquariums. The new digital salinity tester HI98319 has been specially developed for measurements in saltwater aquariums. Salinity is expressed simplifies the salt content in water, so determining salinity in saltwater aquariums is of course particularly important. The tester shows the values in ppt (parts per Thousand), PSU (practical salinity units) or S.G. (specific gravity). Thanks to the large multi-level display, one of the listed units can be displayed simultaneously with the measured temperature in °C or °F. In addition, stability factor and calibration status can also be read in the LCD. When switched on, the tester shows the current battery level. The waterproof tester uses a fixed amperometric graphite conductivity probe to determine the salinity up to 70.00ppt in the water, thanks to the built-in temperature sensor, the values are automatically compensated for temperature. The amperometric graphite probe resists oxidation, creating better reproducible readings and is not as susceptible to the polarisation effect as testers using two stainless steel pins. The modern and waterproof housing not only makes the tester visually attractive for applications in aquariums, you also dont have to worry if the tester falls into the aquarium. The operation is super easy and is done via only two buttons, one for switching on and off and the second for calibration.
