Description

Description: Most GM vehicles equipped with 315 or 433 MHz tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a "sensor relearning procedure" should be performed after tire rotation, remote door lock receiver module replacement, or tire pressure sensor replacement. This relearning procedure can be performed using the special EL-50448 tire pressure tool. EL-50448 runs on 2014 for G.M models. Introduction: 1. The tire pressure sensor on models from 2012 can be read, only with certain specified diagnostic tools. 2. Before the tire pressure monitoring system normally works properly, the body control module records the identification information of each position in the tire pressure sensor. 3. Please refer to the following specific methods: Step 1 - Enter Inclined Mode - Set the gear lever to "P" - Turn the ignition switch to "ON" - Enter the tyre pressure display interface by DIC - DIC displays "Press "Set/Ctrl" - Turn signal lights up for 3 seconds and the horn emits twice a beep sound for enter learning mode. Step 2 - Read Tire Pressure Sensor Information - Start from Left Front Wheel, - Lift the J-46079 Antenna or EL-50448 Diagnostic Tool against the position of the valve core and near the rim of the sidewall of the tyre - El-50448 Tire Pressure Tool Starts with the Start Switch - Read Successfully sensor information from tire pressure when the horn leaps once the horn bounces Step 3 – Same method to read the pressure of other tires Follow the instructions above to read the tire pussure of the front right, rear right, rear left wheels. Turn signals light up for 3 seconds and the bette horn twice when learning is complete. Note: 1. For some vehicles equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPM), a "sensor relearning procedure" should be performed after tire rotation, replacement of the remote door lock receiver module, or replacement of the tire pressure sensor. This relearning procedure can be carried out using the special tool 50448. 2. Package does not include charger and battery.
