The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Venture lightweight camping air mattress has a 1.8 R-value, thanks to Therm-a-Rests WaveCore technology, a construction that insulates without the bulk or durability issues of down or synthetic fills by using a wave-like strut system to create air pockets that keep warmth in while staving off the cold (R-value measures the material’s ability to insulate; the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad).
