The Instantaneous Electric Water Heater is a compact, energy-saving and convenient solution to providing instant hot water to any point in a building. Compact shape and small size allow under sink mounting. Can be used with standard mixers & taps. Heats the water only when you turn the tap on. Consumes energy when it is being used – there are no standby energy losses. The water heater supplies hot water immediately. The temperature of the outlet water depends on the power of the unit (kW), the flow rate and the inlet cold water temperature. The water heater has a small overall dimension and yet retains all the technical parameters of traditional, large heating devices. Its small size makes it possible to install the heater above or under washbasins sinks, or next to shower cabin or baths.
Notes on Installation:
The energy-saving water heaters can be installed above or under your bor sink.
Shower installations are also possible, but never inside the shower cubicle. Installation of your water heater in the ceiling or behind the wall, or in a cupboard next to the shower should be considered.
Installation Requirements:
The water heaters must be installed as close to the point of use as possible to minimize pipeline heat loss. Water pressure must not be less than 60kPa (0.6 bar) and not exceed 600kPa (6bar). If the water pressure is too high, a pressure-reducing valve must be installed. Water quality e.g. mains supply, borehole, river etc. Should water quality be suspect, a filter must be installed. Single-phase or 3 phase power supply with its own isolator switch must be available as close as possible to point of usage.
Installation Procedure:
Installing the energy-saving water heater is not complicated, but it needs to be installed by a professional plumber and electrician for problem-free operation.
