HSS metal drill bit
The HSS Co rectified Metal Drill is a particularly high-performance drill that has a high heat resistance thanks to its 5% cobalt alloy. It is the ideal tool for drilling in hard and resistant materials, e.g. stainless steel. The 130° tip angle makes it easy to start and speed drilling. The ground cutting edge ensures high drilling performance in continuous use and long working time of the drill. The optimum drilling accuracy is achieved through precision grinding, the increasing thickness of the body ensures high stability and reduces the risk of breakage. The gradual reduction of the diameter reduces heat release, which preserves the drill and material. The wide flute ensures rapid evacuation of chips. The metal drill is available in different sizes and has a round fitting for quick clamping in the chuck. It complies with DIN 338.
