In the late 70s The Sun Newspaper issued a set of 1000 cigarette card style "soccercards". These were collected by sending away tokens from the paper for packs of 50 cards. The hand drawn cards depicted players in their club or country colours, various cups and the national flags of the world. As with most of this type of card there were millions issued so they do turn up fairly regularly but as usual it is next to impossible to get specific cards of individual players or team collections. We have therefore grouped the players into their respective teams to cater for the fan who only wants their teams players. (Please be aware that in some instances these team collections will contain some players in their national kit and not their team colours on the card)
