100% merino wool felt (made in Germany)
Our 100% wool felt (mulesing-free) comes from merino sheep known for their very soft wool. Of course, we pay attention to animal welfare and only source mulesing-free wool felt. Our wool felt is made from 100% pure virgin wool. Before we receive the finished material, many steps are necessary. In Germany, the raw wool is matted using a traditional method by compressing and compacting the wool under heat and pressure (walking). Our design felt is a high-quality natural product made from 100% finest virgin wool. Slight colour variations and minor inclusions of natural fibres on the surface are proof of the natural origin of the material. In terms of care and cleaning, wool felt is a quite unproblematic material.
Vegetable tanned Italian leather (made in Italy, Tuscany)
Our vegetable tanned leather comes from a family tannery from Tuscany, Italy. It is tanned using a sustainable method. Only this high quality leather is used in all our products. Our leather is a natural product, which has so-called "natural features". These natural features arise over the course of a cattle life due to injuries or rangelein in the herd. Unfortunately, many people do not know natural leather at all, as most leather are sealed with a plastic layer to cover these natural features and represent a picture of the leather as same as possible. We expressly like to show how pure, genuine leather really looks. Each of our products becomes unique when nature is allowed to show their varied beauty.
