Description

The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, which has always produced first-class spare parts and accessories for scooters.

The Vespa does not have a carburetor pressure supply with gasoline, as is known from modern automatic scooters with gasoline pumps. The tank is located above the carburetor and is equipped with a fuel tap (outlet). Petrol goes down to the engine depending on gravity when the tap is open. However, if, over the years, the fuel tap becomes clogged with residue and dirt and no longer has a good pass, it can quickly become critical at continuous full throttle on the highway (higher fuel quantity required)! The engine is bent and tight!

Therefore, the following provisions apply: after many years, the fuel valve can also be replaced. Always install a new seal!

To disassemble, use special mounting keys of the fuel valve, since the mounting nut is located inside the tank.

Without reservation.
