Rocky IV tells the story of the hero Rocky getting revenge for his friend, Apollo Creed, against the Soviet boxer, Ivan Drago. Near the beginning of the film, Drago comes to the US and insults its citizens, to defend his countrys honour, Apollo takes him on but is slain in the ring. Rocky then challenges Drago to a match to avenge his friend. Ivan Drago is a man of few words, letting his wife and promoter speak for him. Though he talks about Soviet athletes being superior, he is seen taking injections to improve his performance.
