Our range of powerful circular Ferrite Hook Magnets use traditional anisotropic ferrite magnets contained within a steel pot in order to provide the maximum holding force possible for the given size when in 100% contact with steel at least 1mm thick. The steel pot directs the magnetic field lines downward to the contact surface and produces a closed magnetic circuit. When designed correctly, there is no magnetic flux leakage from the top face of the pot. With an attractive white powder coated finish these Magnets complete with hook provide good holding strength and value for money. Ideal for use on steel ceiling fittings and general steelwork around the workplace and home. Pull force can vary significantly as a result of surface conditions, direction of pull, type of steel, & surface coating thickness. The values stated are theoretical, based on a clean plain mild steel plate of sufficient thickness such that there is no flux leakage from the back face of the plate.
