Pheromone lure and sticky insert refills for use with any codling moth delta trap. Adult codling moth lay their eggs on apples and pears. After hatching, caterpillars burrow into the fruit ruining it. The Andermatt Home & Garden codling moth trap catches and kills moths. Traps should be placed in trees when the adult moths are active (from May onwards). This refill kit contains 2 lures and 2 sticky inserts to give consistent performance through one year from first adult flight to harvest. The first lure and sticky insert used should be replaced with the second set after 6 weeks. Simple to setup and maintenance free. One trap will cover an area of up to 5 trees. Monitoring traps can also be used as decision supporting tools to identify if further action is needed to protect your apples and pears.
