The reels come in 2 different gear ratios (5.2:1 for 1000, 6.2:1 for bigger sizes) and comes in three shallow spool models, ideal for fishing braided line. The smaller sizes 1000 and 2000 are ideal for trout fishing, area game style and all kinds of light game fishing techniques. The medium sized reels are great for pike fishing, jigging for zander or casting crankbaits for perch. The larger size 4000 is extremely effective for the more powerful predators like bass or when casting larger fishing lures like pike lures.
